I SENT THIS EXACT ARGUMENT TO MY FREAKING REPRESENTATIVE AND HE SAID THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO CONNECTION BETWEEN LOVING V. VIRGINIA AND GAY MARRIAGE.
WHO THE FUCK VOTED SUCH AN IGNORANT FUCK INTO FUCKING PUBLIC OFFICE?

Obviously, he’s not a lawyer. Or he’s a liar. Probably both. ;)
I immediately looked up this case and what did I find:

Loving v. Virginia, 388 U.S. 1 (1967),[1] was a landmark civil rights case in which the United States Supreme Court, in an unanimous decision, declared Virginia’s anti-miscegenation statute, the “Racial Integrity Act of 1924”, unconstitutional, thereby overturning Pace v. Alabama (1883) and ending all race-based legal restrictions on marriage in the United States. -wiki

I don’t see too much of a stretch here. Makes me wonder who managed to dig up this relic. That’s the mother of all comebacks right there. Homophobic straight people need to give it up. You’re way past losing and way into looking like a bigot. :)
